4th Starter Website For Dennigan Photography

This is photographer Pauline Dennigans’ FORTH website from Starter Websites (I must be doing something right!). Pauline had a very clear idea of what she wanted for her main business website. The site is visually unique and Pauline’s colour scheme really allows her photographs to take centre stage.
Stunning Gallery Feature
Because Pauline is Kerry’s leading wedding photographer, it was essential to present her work with easy to use and visually appealing galleries. I replaced the old gallery with the slick and attractive ‘lightbox galleries’. This looks professional and stylish and saves on load-time compared to the old gallery which loaded a different web page for every image.
Cross Browser Testing
The site has been tested for correct display across several main browsers including Firefox. IE (including IE6), Google Chrome, Safari and so on.
Retaining Visitor Traffic During Website Update
The new site is PHP while the old one was HTML, so I took steps to ensure the old pages redirected to the new pages so that website traffic would not be lost when the new site replaced the old.
SEO and Links
The site is fully search engine optimised (SEO) and the project includes dozens of links back to Pauline’s site (to further improve search engine position).
